In 2009, the district established the Southwest Santa Rosa Center. In May 2023, the Board of Trustees approved a resolution to change its name to SRJC Roseland. Its location is in the Southwest Santa Rosa area, a community known for its rich culture and underserved residents. The site sits on 9.5 acres slated for modernization and renovation to provide high quality education. The academic programs offered include Noncredit English for Multilingual Students (EMLS), College Skills, Older Adults, Computer Literacy, Adult Education, Community Education, and general education courses. It provides access to registration, assessment, orientation, counseling, basic needs, and follow-up services to various off-campus locations throughout Sonoma County.

Annually SRJC Roseland serves more than 7,000 students, including English language learners, from various areas in the region. It serves as a point of entry for newly arrived immigrants from around the world. On any given day, visitors can hear multiple languages spoken and experience the different cultures students bring from their native countries. It provides the academic skills for a diverse student population that enrolls in general education, vocational certificates, and other educational courses. Students' academic success enables them to enter the local and regional workforce and succeed in our community.
